Beautiful Things

Think in love, speak in love, live in love.

I tagged one of the bathroom stalls in The Bottom Lounge in Chicago the night I saw The Hush Sound with this little tidbit. First of all, I have never, ever felt guilty about writing on the bathroom walls of a venue. It almost seems encouraged. As long as you’re writing something nice or meaningful, what is the problem with it? For heavens sake, writing a song title in a music venue seems downright appropriate. Second, I can’t imagine something better to write. Rachel was going through the pictures at the end of the show and came upon this one and said ‘Oh, Seya. That’s so sweet.’ then I explained I hadn’t come up with it, it belonged to Anthony.
I have since resolved to write these words wherever I can. There is nothing at all wrong with spreading the Anthony Green love, but it’s more than that. This is the type of message that will stop a person in a busy moment and make them think, think of someone or something. These are words that touch people very personally. Everyone deserves to hear them. So, on walls, on hands, on paper, on notes that I’ll hide, on friends, in bathroom stalls, I will spread this message in my weird handwriting and with my funny E’s. Love you no matter what. Because everyone deserves to have those words given to them, everyone deserves someone who feels that way about them. It would be pretty cool to turn into a movement, but that’s highly unlikely. It’s enough for me to spread it as much as one person can.
I’ll love you no matter what.
